تحقيق الريادة في خدمه المجتمع والبحث العلمي و التعليم الطبي محليا و إقليميا
رسالة القسم
تهدف رسالة قسم المجتمع – جامعه الإسكندرية لتحقيق هدف “الصحة من أجل المجتمع” وذلك من خلال اعداد كوادر متميزة ذوي كفاءة عالية لتشخيص وعلاج مشكلات المجتمع الصحية ونشر الوعي الصحي والاجتماعي بين الافراد والاسر والمجتمع.
كما يسعي قسم طب المجتمع الي الارتقاء بالأبحاث العلمية التي تسهم في حل مشاكل المجتمع والشراكة الفعالة مع العاملين في القطاع الصحي والرعاية الصحية الأولية في مجال التدريس والتدريب.

| 1- تنمية وتطوير المناهج الأكاديمية بما يتماشى مع متطلبات التعليم الطبي المستمر |
| 2- اجراء البحوث العلمية والتطبيقية المرتبطة باحتياجات ومشكلات المجتمع بغرض تنمية المجتمع صحيا واجتماعيا |
| 3- التكامل مع القطاعات ذات الصلة بالصحة لإثراء الخدمات الصحية بالمجتمع |
| 4- تفعيل دور قسم طب المجتمع تجاه المجتمع المحلي |
| 5- تطوير برامج الدراسات العليا |
| 6- تحديث الطرق الأساسية للبحث العلمي |
